Aftermarket Sales Engineer (m/f)

To strengthen our Balticare UK team, we're recruiting a motivated Aftermarket Sales Engineer (North England, Scotland).

Getting your energy out of converting opportunities to a sale?

  • You are responsible for the sales of BAC aftermarket products and services (including spare parts). Visiting customers / BAC installations and working out quotations to provide solutions which fit the customers' needs, form part of your daily job.
  • You are able to demonstrate to our customers the BAC premium quality and benefits to realize maximum operating profits. You create value in solutions for our clients, convincing them of BAC's qualitative broad range of products and services.
  • Your ultimate goal is to create long term customer relationships and maximizing our after sales business. Next to managing your existing client portfolio, you proactively take initiatives to expand your network.
  • You liaise regularly with core product sales colleagues to develop preventative maintenance opportunities for new installations.
  • Daily planning and administration are an important aspect of your role: monthly sales reports, hand over documentation for your internal service planners, reviewing job sheets and site inspection reports from our service technicians, installation database,...
  • You closely work together with internal colleagues from different departments at EU HQ (marketing engineering, aftermarket, supply chain,...).

Technical sales driven team player looking to advise and promote the optimal solution to customers? 

  • You combine an (Electro) Mechanical Engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience preferably in a technical/commercial environment - crucial is having a technical affinity and the eager to learn and get to know BAC products and markets.
  • This role requires first class listening and interaction skills to build relationships. You are highly customer oriented and focused on providing solutions.
  • You are a stress resistant and flexible person who's willing to help others, can manage priorities as needed and is capable to work in an often hectic and fast changing environment.
  • Thanks to strong negotiation and persuasive skills and a result driven approach, you are able to close a deal.
  • You show a strong sense of responsibility and entrepreneurship.
  • In this role, travelling within the territory of responsibility is crucial. 30% inside the office, 70% outside the office.
